Riding the wave of this era while still preserving its mystery, the traditional entertainment district remains an enigmatic world unknown to many. Though a long-standing tradition in Japan, few truly understand its existence—its doors closed to outsiders, as the saying "no first-timers allowed" suggests. A realistic portrayal of their lives, encounters with men, and the complex bonds they form.
