Kumiko is the type who grows weary of romance, and no matter whom she dates, things never work out—her love life has been a string of failures. When she meets Tatsuya, they decide against pursuing a serious relationship and instead continue as friends with benefits. However, due to their excellent sexual compatibility, Kumiko gradually begins developing genuine romantic feelings for him. She tries to justify ending the arrangement, convincing herself it's for the best, but finds she can't bring herself to say it aloud.
