高橋監督作品 商品情報には唐木竹史監督と記載されていましたが、実際には高橋監督が監督を務めていたようです。その点は最初から気づかなかったので少し驚きました。また、映像の途中で機材トラブルが発生し、出発からホテルチェックインまでの動画が欠損してしまいました。驚いたことに、超ベテランの高橋監督でもこのようなミスが起こるとは思っていませんでした。その結果、それまでのシーンは唐木監督の映像で補うことになりました。いつもより短い時間で宿泊シーンが始まり、その分、宿内での描写がより濃密で充実していました。特に、男二人が温泉に浸かりながら会話するシーンは、まるでドラマのワンシーンのように味わい深かったです。唐木監督が「やっと一つになれた気がする」と呟いた台詞は、シリーズの中でも群を抜いた名台詞だと感じました。この作品は、二人の監督が最後にコラボした作品ということで、感慨深いものがありました。今後、二人の旅をテーマにしたドラマが作られたら、きっと面白いだろうなと感じました。例えば、お互いの旅の思い出を語り合いながら、途中で突然現れるゲストとして人妻さんやゴーゴーズの社員さんが登場するなど、さまざまな展開が楽しめるのではないかと思います。 シリーズを追う者としては感慨深いものもあるかな Side.Bは高橋監督が中心となり、奈美さんが主役となる作品です。前作のSide.Aでも述べたように、奈美さんの旦那さんも隠し撮りを通じて参加しており、その存在感はしっかりと感じられます。ただ、残念だったのは、夫婦間での恥ずかしさや辱めが少し物足りなかった点です。もっとエスカレートした感情の描写や、夫婦の関係性に深みを持たせることができれば、よりドラマチックで惹きつけられる作品になったのではないかと思います。 エンディングでは両監督の会話にも触れており、今後もこのようなコラボレーション作品が作られることを期待しています。今後の展開に注目したいですね。
