Koko, living alone in Tokyo, is suddenly visited by her childhood friend Shota, who used to live in her hometown. Though she always treated him like a kid since he was younger, she gradually finds herself drawn to him as he protects her from a persistent man and starts acting more mature. Her heart begins to race just like it did in the old days, and though she's surprised by his transformation, she can't help but be moved. Finally, Shota confesses his feelings, saying he wants to fulfill their childhood promise: "Let's start dating when we grow up."

西島伊吹のショックを救った保志健斗の一作 琉球エロメンの西島伊吹が突然病気療養のために活動を休止したとき、その寂しさに胸を痛めた私を救ってくれたのが、この「あの日の約束」です。河内エロメンの保志健斗が登場する初めての作品で、彼は前作でエロメンデビューを果たし、本格的な活動をスタートさせました。彼の表現は背伸びせず、素直で誠実なもので、その姿に私は心から好意を抱きました。コロナ禍が拡大した2020年11月にSILK LABOより発売されたこの作品は、河内エロメンの独特な雰囲気を感じさせない一方で、保志健斗が自分のスタイルを貫き通す姿に惹きつけられました。彼の純粋な演技に心を打たれ、その一作が私にとって特別な存在となっています。
