Amid this chaos, Tsukumori Mio, the female police chief of Tsukimachi City, by day upheld justice within the law, while by night donned a special powered suit left behind by her deceased husband to fight criminals beyond the reach of the law, protecting the city. Known as "Darkness-Slaying Dark," she was immensely popular among citizens. Yet, to the underworld, she was a figure of fear and hatred. One day, a small traveling circus arrived in town, suspected of involvement in a series of abductions.
