Mariko (Shizuka Miyamoto), married to the eldest son of a rural household, lives day to day feeling bored with the routine sex she shares with her husband. One day, Yuugo, her nephew and a hitchhiking traveler crossing Japan, arrives at her home. Seeing him stirs memories of a past affair—the one time she slept with Yuugo's father, a mistake she once made. As the past intertwines with the present, Mariko faces another difficult choice while awaiting Yuugo's departure.
