In her life in the countryside, Reira earnestly sought kindness. Along this journey, she came to embrace the true nature of gentleness by taking into her mouth and between her legs the soiled, unwashed shafts of men hardened by labor, refusing to cleanse their filthy bodies. Through these acts, Reira confronted her own emotions and was led toward new realizations. Yet, after these experiences, she would sincerely whisper, "I hate the countryside now."
