再編集して欲しい、 夫の独善的なプレーへの対応を試みる木下優子さんの姿や、母親としての意識を持つ息子役の描写は、非常にリアルで、観ているこちらにも共感を誘うものでした。物語の流れに沿って導かれるようなカラミの演出は、とても上手くできていて、全体的に非常に満足できる内容です。ただ、最初の夫役のカラミがもう少しハードまたは変質的な要素を含んでいれば、後の息子役との癒しの要素との対比がより強調されて、物語の張りがさらに高まったのではないかと思います。また、最後の特典映像に含まれる足コキのシーンは、やや物足りない感じがしており、もしこれらが本編に組み込まれていれば、より完成度の高い作品になったのではないかと感じました。
