Women who attempt shoplifting are caught and, when cornered, become defiant and lash out. Scenes unfold showing merciless punishment inflicted upon these morally bankrupt shoplifters. When veteran store detectives threaten to call the police, the women suddenly shift from aggressive to pleading desperately for mercy. Perhaps they believe it's better to be taken by men than face arrest or having their families notified? Some even proactively beg, saying, "I'll do anything, please forgive me..." But were these women truly committing theft intentionally?
