I first encountered the BDSM world of the Sex Slave Hall after reading President Sadoyama Orio's "The Book of SM Olympics." Through that book, I became interested in BDSM and decided to participate firsthand. At first, I felt anxiety and fear toward SM, but the instructors and seniors kindly guided me as a beginner, disciplining me with strictness—slapping me with whips, berating and degrading me. Through this rigorous training, I gradually began to develop feelings of compassion toward others. Although the nature of BDSM—humiliating, insulting, and tyrannically dominating others—may seem devoid of empathy, I have come to realize that such treatment is actually the path to cultivating true compassion.
