However, she was kidnapped by the evil secret organization Masshika, forcibly brainwashed, and reprogrammed as a female combat agent. She became deeply involved in a mission to destroy the security system of Augusta Tower, the organization responsible for maintaining peace in Augus. As part of the operation, she used a honey trap to defeat her own father, Director Fujioka, ultimately killing him. Just as the mission seemed successful, a masked runner suddenly appeared before Megumi as she attempted to escape. She suffered a brutal defeat at the hands of the masked runner. Though her life was spared, she was left critically wounded from a monster's attack. This injury sealed her tragic fate.
