The woman who came to deliver the ransom becomes a captive in place of her kidnapped father. She is bound, left alone, her breathing clearly audible. There's no escape. No one is coming to save her. As death draws near, she lets out nothing but shallow breaths. Trapped in a desperate, hopeless situation.
