On a certain day in November 2009, I became involved with team Rinryu for the first time when Naomi Asano and Yapoo Number Zero proposed the "Interview ●● Project." I took on the responsibility of establishing an administrative office, contacting volunteer livestock candidates, and selecting suitable individuals at the threshold. The moment I declared, "This is Minami from the Yapoo Interview ●● Project Office," everything began to unfold. Titled "The Door to Yapoo," this project was committed to a fully documentary style, aiming to capture its raw, authentic reality. Alongside Rinjo-Oh, I conducted close-up filming of livestock candidates—from visiting them to handing them over to the interview ●● officials. That single line separating the outside world from the inside world—the moment the door opens—is a step from which there is no return. Through this project, I directly witnessed volunteers becoming true livestock people. Additionally, I was able to film the behind-the-scenes training of new Jo-O recruits conducted by Madame Naomi, capturing even the moment a new Jo-O was born. The intense realism born from this pure documentary approach grips the viewer's soul. This is a work I sincerely hope anyone aspiring to become a livestock person will watch.
