Three schoolgirls mercilessly stomp on rhinoceros beetles with their shoe soles, slapping and spitting on them as they mindlessly torment the creatures. When the insects try to escape, the girls drag them back and resume their abuse, meticulously smearing the fluids oozing from the beetles' bodies across their soles. Set in a dark, oppressive space where the beetles' anguished cries seem almost audible, the scene strikingly contrasts cruelty with innocence.
