Given the title "Making a Baby with Mom," it wouldn't be strange for this to be the standard development, but still. It follows the standard scenario where the son becomes aware of his mother as a sexual being after a friend's comment. The father's business trip is set at three months, perhaps anticipating the pregnancy ending. Including the mother's revealing clothing from the start, the series lacks the depiction of the process over one month where she recognizes her son as a man and her rationality crumbles, which is disappointing for a series work. However, the device where after one month, the mother suddenly increases her exposure to seduce her son due to sexual frustration from lack of sex with her husband is fresh. It's a flow where bodily desires take priority over the heart, as she submits her body to the familiar dick while still aware of her maternal responsibilities. Still, I wish there had been a preliminary stage where she feels her son's masculinity in his physique. In the first actual sex scene, both actress and actor skillfully portray the perfect physical compatibility, where the mother immediately convulses from her son's dick inserted deep inside. The scene where the mother wraps her legs around her son's waist is handled through editing cuts rather than the actress's performance, which is typical of Mishima Rokusaburō's works and feels lacking, but the emphasis on the hold-and-creampie where the mother wants her son's sperm deep inside from the start is clearly over-the-top when calculated backwards from the pregnancy ending, leaving a good impression. The device where the son's creampie triggers a change in her consciousness as a "woman" finally approaches the direction expected of a series, with her underwear becoming flashier as a sign of inner change. The subtle and careful depiction of her dissatisfaction when her son brings a friend home because she wants to have sex with him, and her loneliness when her son brags to his friend that "there's no way I'd get excited by my mom," is well done. In the ending, the pregnancy is treated as an accident, and the emphasis on the mother's anxiety and guilt, along with the plot where the son seduces his mother to leave her husband—including the device of making her remove her wedding ring—makes the twisted sense of taboo in incest truly stand out. The son's tongue kiss changes her expression from "mother" to "woman," and it was good to see a genuinely euphoric smile at the end. There are flaws like the father character not wearing a wedding ring (a sloppy oversight), and the "one month later" effectively being extended to three months, changing the framework of the rules—this may divide opinions. But there's no disgusting play like the son performing cunnilingus on his sperm-filled pussy after creampie, and the sex scenes are visually engaging, so overall I think it's a well-made work. Somehow, even though they're committing a taboo, it's way too casual... In the genre of mother-son incest, the most important thing is whether the parties involved, especially the actress playing the mother, are aware that they are committing a taboo, and whether a sense of depraved resolve—unable to escape lust despite knowing it leads to ruin—can be felt. However, this work completely lacks that weight. It looks no different from an ordinary couple having sex as if playing house, with zero tension of violating the greatest taboo. I have to say the director does not understand the essence of this genre at all. Originally, when depicting an act that cannot be faced in public and is, in a sense, not sane behavior, a resolve to take the secret to the grave or a desperate attitude of being willing to risk one's life together with the son if anything happens is essential. Without that, there is no point in handling this genre. The quality of the script is of course important, but above that, the acting skills of the actress and actor determine the success or failure of the work. For example, including detailed touches like morning sickness or the absence of menstruation greatly enhances realism and the sense of depravity. In particular, the actress is required to portray the psychological process of desperately guarding her position as a mother and the line that must not be crossed, while being swayed by her feelings as a woman, eventually violating the taboo between mother and son—the crumbling of the fortress she should protect. It is that delicate acting that deeply draws the viewer into emotional involvement. I want the director and screenwriter to thoroughly study higher-quality erotic novels in the mother-son incest genre and foreign films themed on incest. With such shallow content, it is hard to believe this depicts mother-son incest at all. Somehow it's good, isn't it? I have a strong preference for big-breasted characters reminiscent of Ayumi Ryo, and their eroticism is an irresistible charm. Especially in works like this one, where tongue kissing is plentiful, I want to experience it more as a VR title. I strongly hope that they will continue to release immersive VR works along this line.
