During Japan's period of high economic growth in the Showa era, the nation briefly achieved prosperity, yet behind this wealth, countless families suffered in poverty. It was common at the time to see loan sharks tormenting widows burdened by debt. These widows could do nothing but endure their suffering. Amid such hardship, through rough ropes and the hands of the loan shark, my heart and my most intimate parts were gradually toyed with, and ultimately broken apart. This story carries deep sorrow and the dark shadows of that era.
