From space comes Sigma Lady, the sole female member of the Earth Defense Force, dedicated to protecting Earth's peace—Lieutenant Jinsei. One day, she is assigned to inspect the Cosmo Tower, a massive facility developed for kaiju defense. Built by the Ministry of Defense at the northern and southern edges of Shinagawa Ward—where kaiju attacks frequently occur—the tower stretches 620 meters high. Its rooftop is equipped with a device that launches electromagnetic nets to capture monsters, making it a crucial stronghold for Earth's defense. Meanwhile, the Mikarus aliens, seeking to conquer Earth, secretly plot to eliminate Sigma Lady. They kidnap Lieutenant Jinsei, use her DNA to create a fake Sigma Lady, and succeed in their experiment. When the impostor begins destroying the city, the real Sigma Lady engages in a fierce battle—but accidentally gets caught in an electromagnetic net fired from the Cosmo Tower. Helpless and trapped, Sigma Lady is then brutally assaulted by the giant monster and the fake Sigma Lady.
