I had decided to give it five stars all along, but... As a fan who has been supporting her since her debut, I was determined to give a perfect score to any VR work of hers, but this time it was honestly a tough watch.
First, regarding her acting, I can feel Airi-chan's growth and she has definitely improved. However, compared to other actresses, she is still a work in progress with plenty of room for development, so I look forward to her future efforts.
As for the main work itself, the audio noise bothered me. It wasn't enough to hinder viewing, but the noise persisted throughout the entire work, and since it wasn't observed in other works, I believe it's a problem specific to this title. Those sensitive to sound should avoid using earphones.
Also, the dialogue delivery felt overall unnatural and forced. I can't tell if it's a script issue or ad-libbing, but there were several questionable lines, and I would have preferred a more careful progression.
The sex scenes were also lacking. The actual intercourse time was short at about 20 minutes, and I wonder why they kept their clothes on during the face-to-face seated position, which is a charm of VR. The final missionary position was also too far away, a common problem in early VR works. Looking at the director's past works, he has used big-name actresses and received high praise, so it's disappointing why this work turned out this way.
I don't want to say this, but I wish Airi-chan had taken better care of her skin and hair condition.
I've listed various complaints, but that's because I had high expectations for Airi-chan's VR works. The price has also increased considerably, so I expected a work worthy of that, but the disappointment is too strong.
I understand that prices have risen due to the recent semiconductor shortage, and it's still cheaper than 2D works. I'm just happy they release VR works, and if it's high quality, I'd buy it without hesitation even at double the price, so please do a good job next time.
That said, Airi-chan was still cute.
