Tomomi Wakui's son, Katsuya, was arrested and imprisoned for three years on charges of assaulting a woman. Upon his release, Katsuya hoped to return to his family, but his past crime triggered new turmoil. The victim was the daughter of Yasui, a colleague of Katsuya's father, who had gone missing, leaving her to rebuild her life alone.
