Due to her husband's hospitalization, Eiko's daughter and son-in-law move in to support her. Grateful for their kindness, Eiko begins living with them, but gradually becomes aware of the couple's troubled relationship. One night, she accidentally witnesses a scene in their bedroom—her daughter rejecting her husband, while her son-in-law suffers from sexual frustration. In that moment, a thought quietly arises in Eiko's mind: "If it were me, I could surely satisfy him..." This feeling continues to grow deeper over time. Eventually, the couple's rift becomes irreparable, and the daughter leaves home. When her son-in-law attempts to chase after her, Eiko gently takes his hand and stops him. In that instant, Eiko and her son-in-law find themselves alone together for the first time.
