In the midst of the Showa era, a dark age rife with unjust sexual crimes is dramatically portrayed. This work depicts the tragedy of women falsely accused and cast into a hell of carnal desire. Amid the oppressive reality where men dominate women, brutal acts unfold—prisoners are threatened and violently raped. Women weep, broken and unable to recover, as their fates unfold under the shadow of a corrupt era. Here, long-buried injustices and sexual atrocities are resurrected. The societal distortions of the time and the profound sorrow of powerless women strike deeply at the heart.
