While drinking with her colleague Kimura, Yoshizawa expressed relief over having just been dumped by her long-term partner. The breakup was due to differences in values—her partner found her "too nitpicky." Ironically, Kimura had also just been dumped for the exact same reason. Their shared misfortune led coworkers to comment that they were a perfect match, gradually sparking Kimura's interest. Though hesitant at first, Yoshizawa ends up missing the last train and spends the night at Kimura's place, bringing them even closer. An unexpected turn of events pushes their relationship into a bold new beginning.

すぐそこに運命のひと この作品は、今年の4月にシルクラボからDVDとしてリリースされました。筆者の間で「見事」と評価された作品はほとんどなかったですが、この作品は配信版を見ても、見応えがあり、制作の完成度が高いと感じました。テーマは「すぐそこに運命のひと」に出会えたときの「幸せ」を描いており、感情の表現がとても深く、胸に迫る内容です。上原千明の演技力は、他の共演者よりもはるかに上手く、彼女の存在感が作品全体を引き立てています。特に、感情を自然に表現する力に感動しました。彼女が演じる役柄は、ただのセリフではなく、心の奥底から湧き上がる感情を伝えてくれるので、観る人を強く惹きつけるのです。
