Asuka is 26 years old. Her husband is an anesthesiologist at a university hospital, working regular shifts, night duties, and frequent emergency call-ins—his schedule is so demanding it feels like another world. Amid this hectic life, Asuka spends most of her time with her fellow nurse colleagues. Even on rare days off, she has no time to rest or recharge, constantly overwhelmed by childcare responsibilities. She feels her own life slipping away, sacrificed to family duties, and her stress is nearing its limit. One day, after finally securing a daycare spot for her previously waitlisted son, Asuka decides to prioritize herself for once and invites her female college friend out for drinks, marking the start of a long-overdue night of freedom.
