Josephine Kaoru Asakura (Karina Nishida), a graduate of a French university, studied perfumery at a research institute in southern France and went on to work as a renowned perfumer for a prestigious Paris-based fragrance house. Her exceptional talent earned her the nickname "The Nose of an Angel," and she received high acclaim from the company. She eventually ventured into the world of traditional Japanese scents, the heritage of her mother's homeland.
