Mihina and her husband begin living with her ailing father-in-law, who suffers from memory loss and repeatedly calls out the name of a woman he remembers—Miyako. Learning of Miyako's lingering presence in her father-in-law's memories, Mihina is asked by her husband to impersonate Miyako and take on the role of caregiver. As she lives as Miyako, Mihina uncovers fragments of the old man's past and emotions, gradually finding her own feelings stirred. What exactly was the nature of Miyako, the woman who captured her father-in-law's heart? And is the role Mihina now plays truly the right choice? The answer may open a new, forbidden possibility between them.
