GoGo's Core presents a new film by acclaimed director Koichi Takahashi, following the popular "Married Woman's Affair Trip" spin-off series. The protagonist, Ruriko, is a 37-year-old mother of three with one previous marriage. She says, "The time I've lost can't be regained... From now on, I want to start a new chapter." When she was seven, her parents divorced, and she began living with her mother and older sister. Though her mother remarried later, Ruriko always felt a strong desire to work early and become independent, despite having no major conflicts with her stepfather. After graduating high school, she started working and living alone. At 23, she married a man she met at work after a three-month relationship, raising three children together. However, she endured the consecutive traumas of child-rearing stress, her husband's infidelity, and divorce. Fighting hard every day to survive, she now finds herself on the brink of turning 40.
