Forty-year-old Tomie has been married for 16 years and is the mother of two children. At the midpoint of her life, she embarks on a journey to confront her past self. Born and raised on a farm in Hokkaido, surrounded by nature, she found work locally and married the man she met there. When her husband was transferred, they moved to Tokyo, completely changing their lives. Unable to adapt to the new environment, her children grew anxious, and the deep-seated longing for her hometown quietly took root within her heart—eventually drawing her into this journey. Reflecting on her life, when she meets a man who is not her husband, her mind and body are once again liberated in the embrace of nature. Directed by Koichi Takahashi, this is a spin-off from the Married Woman's Affair Travel series, portraying the past, present, and the first step toward the future of a married woman.
